“The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kelsoe & Cornelius Funeral Home, 322 N. Second St., McConnellsburg.
“Survivors include his wife, Pauline; two sons, Donald, Wharton, N.J., and Ronald, Chester, N.J.; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Verna) Adler, Highland Park, N.J., Mrs. Clayton (Wilda) Hutchinson, Potsdam, Mrs. Charles (Anna) Burkhead, Hannawa Falls, and Mrs. Edward (Mary) Lipchus, Hamden, Conn.; a brother, Clarence Neil, North Bay, and several nieces and nephews.
“Born in Watertown on Jan. 7, 1925, son of Robert and Minnie Shields Neil, he attended area schools and was an Army veteran of World War II. Following his discharge, he was employed in heavy construction, retiring two years ago.
“He married Pauline Boone on Dec. 22, 1955, in New Jersey.
