Her obituary appeared on 9 Oct 1962 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Mrs. Juliette Foster, 80, Dies. Redwood, Oct. 9.--Mrs. Juliette Manning Foster, 80, widow of Lyman Foster, died at 10:05 p.m. Monday at her home on Main street. She had been in failing health for a year.
"Prayer services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Frederick Brothers funeral home, Theresa. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier church with Rev. Robert L. Cotter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Redwood cemetery.
"Mrs. Foster is survived by two brothers, Charles F. Manning, Gouverneur, and Carl J. Manning, Redwood; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Johnston, Redwood, and Miss Kate Manning, Theresa.
"She was born Oct. 4, 1882, in the town of Theresa, daughter of Charles and Caroline Buker Manning, and attended schools there. she was married to Lyman Foster at Redwood on April 3, 1901, by Rev. Paul Becker, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church.
"Following their marriage, the couple farmed in the Redwood-Theresa area and later moved to Creek road near Plessis. He was employed there as a cheesemaker for Adam Bickelhaupt, and later worked in the limburger cheese cold storage plant here until 1930. They then purchased a farm on the Browns Corners-Plessis road, which they operated until his death on Jan. 9, 1950. Mrs. Foster then sold the farm and moved to the home in Redwood where she had lived since.
"She was a member of St. Francis Xavier church and its Altar and Rosary society." She was buried in Redwood cemetery, Redwood, Jefferson, NY.

Juliette Manning and Lyman Foster were married on 3 Apr 1901 in Redwood, Jefferson, NY. Lyman Foster (son of Chauncey Foster and Louise Stone) was born on 17 Jul 1874 in Theresa, Jefferson, NY. He died on 7 Jan 1950 in Brown's Corners, Jefferson, NY. His obituary appeared on 9 Jan 1950 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Lyman J. Foster Dies At Redwood. Farmer and Lifelong Resident of Jefferson County Succumbs at Home. Redwood, Jan. 9.--Lyman J. Foster, 75, lifelong resident of Jefferson county and a farmer, died at his home, Brown's Corners, Saturday afternoon at 12:20 from a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Foster was stricken with a stroke Thursday.
"Funeral services will be conducted from his residence Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 and at 2 from the Quincer funeral parlors. Rev. Myron E. Van Ornum, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Redwood cemetery.
"Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Juliette M. Foster; and one stepsister, Mrs. Jason House, Theresa.
"Mr. Foster was born in the town of Theresa July 17, 1874, a son of Chauncey and Louise Stone Foster. On April 3, 1901, he married the former Juliette Manning. He took up farming following his marriage. In 1907 he made cheese for Adam Bickelhaupt and a few years later operated the Bickelhaupt cold storage plant.
"Mr. Foster purchased his present farm in 1932. Besides his farm work, Mr. Foster built boats, and owned a boat livery and a small store at Butterfield Lake. A violinist, Mr. Foster at one time conducted an orchestra in the north country playing at numerous dances. He was a member of the Redwood volunteer first [fire] department." He was buried in Redwood cemetery, Redwood, Jefferson, NY.
