Her obituary appeared on 3 Mar 1962 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Infant Is Found Dead In Crib Of Pneumonia. Kimberly Edith Manning, 9 weeks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Manning, 624 Franklin street, was found dead in her crib this morning by her parent. Dr. H. Louis George pronounced the infant dead from pneumonia, according to city police, who had been called at 6:35.
"The body was removed to the Frederick Brothers funeral home, Theresa, where a prayer service will be held Monday afternoon at 1 with Rev. Myron E. Van Ornum, retired Methodist minister of Theresa, officiating. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery, Plessis, in the spring. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening.
"Kimberly Manning was born Dec. 31, 1961, in this city, the daughter of William and Nancy Collins Manning, and was the couple's only child.
"Besides the parents, the infant is survived by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Collins, Plessis, and her paternal grandfather, Lawrence Manning.
"Mr. and Mrs. Manning formerly lived in Theresa, and Mr. Manning is employed on a Pearl street road farm." She was buried in Brookside cemetery, Plessis, Jefferson, NY.
