305. William Amos Klock was born on 30 Oct 1906 in Edwards, St. Lawrence, NY. He died on 9 Apr 1981 in Rose, Oswego, NY. His obituary appeared on 11 Apr 1981 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Rites Monday For William Klock. Ogdensburg -- The funeral for William A. Klock, 74, of 948 Elizabeth St., retired carpenter who died unexpectedly Thursday evening at Rose, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home.
"Rev. Donald Casselman, First Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery.
"Calling hours at the funeral home are today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may make a donation to a favorite charity in his memory.
"Surviving are his wife, Emma; a son, Darrell, Buffalo; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Awan, Ogdensburg; three grandchildren, six step-sons, Struan Lemke, Liverpool, George Lemke, Ogdensburg, Charles Winters, Alabama, John Winters, New Jersey, William Winters, Lockport and Daniel Winters, Maine; two step-daughters, Mrs. Jane Gillespie, Arizona and Mrs. Sally Coonradt, Schenectady; two sisters, Miss Myrtle Klock and Mrs. Mildred Groulx, both of Ogdensburg, a half-brother, Fred Weir, Fairport and nieces and nephews. A half-brother, Lloyd Weir, died earlier.
"He was born at Edwards, Oct. 30, 1906, son of Amos N. and Mabel Barber Klock, and married Marie Foster June w7, 1928. His first wife died March 2, 1963 and in December 1965, he married Mrs. Elizabeth Winters who died Dec. 30, 1974. He married Mrs. Emma Lemke Nov. 21, 1975.
"Mr. Klock had worked most of his life as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of United Methodist Church, Ogdensburg Lodge 128, F. & A. M., Maple City Chapter 71, Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth."

William Amos Klock and Elizabeth Gilbert were married on 17 Dec 1967 in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence, NY. Elizabeth Gilbert (daughter of Albert Gilbert and Mabel Trickey) was born on 28 Sep 1910 in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence, NY. She died on 31 Dec 1974 in Sanford, Seminole, Florida. Her obituary appeared on 2 May 1975 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Woman, 64, Expires. Ogdensburg -- There will be a memorial service in the spring for Mrs. Elizabeth Winters Klock, 64, wife of William A. Klock, who died Tuesday morning at Sanford, Fla., where the couple spent their winters. Burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery in the spring.
"She is survived by her husband; four sons, Charles Winters, Endwell; William Winters, Lockport; John Winters, Brunswick, Me., and Daniel Winters, Brunswick, Me.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jane) Gillespie and Mrs. Dakin W. (Sally) Coonradt, both of Schenectady; one step-son, Darrell Klock, Tonawanda; one step-daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Awan, Ogdensburg; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Carrier, Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Carl (Lena) Rood, Crary Mills; one brother, Albert Gilbert, Ogdensburg, and 26 grandchildren.
"She was born in Ogdensburg, Sept. 18, 1910, daughter of Albert and Mabel Trickey Gilbert. She married Charles Winters, Aug. 11, 1926, and he died in a hunting accident in 1963.
"She was married to William A. Klock in December 1966 at St. John's Episcopal Church. She was active at St. John's Episcopal Church. She was a past noble grand of Eureka Rebekah Lodge 129 and a past matron of the peace court, order of the Amaranth. She was a past matron of Maple City Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star." She was buried in Ogdensburg Cemetery Ogdensburg NY.

William Amos Klock and Emma Mae Tooley were married on 21 Nov 1975 in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence, NY. Emma Mae Tooley (daughter of John Luther Tooley and Emma Wood) was born on 20 Apr 1907 in Plevna, Ontario, Canada. She died on 3 Feb 2001 in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence, NY. Her obituary appeared on 4 Feb 2001 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: “Emma Lemke Klock Seamstress. Ogdensburg. Emma Mae Lemke Klock, 93, of 214 King St., formerly of 948 Elizabeth St., died Saturday at the Claxton-Hepburn Residential Health Care Facility, where she had been a resident since July 4, 1990.
“Mrs. Klock had been a seamstress at Randall Manufacturing Co.
“Born April 20, 1907, in Plevna, Ontario, she was a daughter of John Luther and Emma Wood Tooley.
“She married Herbert F. Lemke on June 15, 1927, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur E. Kelly officiating. Mr. Lemke died Nov. 24, 1968. She married William A. Klock Nov. 21, 1975, in First Baptist Church. He died April 9, 1981.
“Mrs. Klock was a member of First Baptist Church and Maple City Chapter 71 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
“Surviving are two sons and their wives, Struan and Sheila Lemke, Liverpool, and George and Elizabeth Lemke, Ogdensburg; a stepdaughter and her husband, Lorraine and Donald Awan, Ogdensburg; a sister, Martha Allen, Plevna; eight grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
“A stepson, Darrell W. Klock, four brothers and three sisters died before her.
“The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Allen-Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gray, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Eel Weir.
“Calling hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
“Donations may be made to First Baptist Church or to a charity of one's choice.” She was buried in Pine Hill Cem., Morristown, St Lawrence, NY.
