264. Minnetta G. Love was born on 9 Jul 1909 in Richville, St. Lawrence, NY. She died on 29 Jul 1957 in Rochester, Monroe, NY. Her obituary appeared on 30 Jul 1957 in the Watertown Daily Times of Watertown, Jefferson, NY, as follows: "Mrs. Minnetta Brown, 48, Dies. Former Gouverneur and Richville Woman Expires at Rochester. Gouverneur, July 30.--Mrs. Minnetta L. Brown, 48, formerly of this village, died last Thursday at her home in Rochester.
"The funeral was July 28 at the Lewis and Holley funeral home, Rochester. Dr. Leland Wood, interim pastor of Calvary Baptist church, Rochester, officiated. Burial was made at Riverside cemetery, Gouverneur, July 29. A graveside service was conducted by Rev. Oliver K. Barker, Cape Vincent.
"Surviving are her husband, Carl L. Brown, Rochester; a son, Robert E. Brown, Rochester; and her father, Robert Love of Utica.
"Mrs. Brown was born in Richville, July 9, 1909, daughter of the late Robert W. and Nellie Hodgkin Love. She was graduated from Gouverneur high school and the Watertown school of commerce. She was married to Carl L. Brown of Gouverneur, Aug. 2, 1932, by Rev. Ralph Gould, pastor of the First Baptist church, Gouverneur.
"For the past 13 years, Mrs. Brown has lived at Rochester where she was active in the Calvary Baptist church. She was president of the women's alliance of that church." She was buried in Riverside cemetery, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, NY.

Minnetta G. Love and Carl Lee Brown were married on 2 Aug 1932 in Antwerp, Jefferson, NY. "Miss Minetta G. Love Bride. Ceremony At Home Of Her Parents At Antwerp. Becomes Wife of C. L. Brown. Couple to Reside in Gouverneur Where Bridegroom Is Employed By J. M. Horton Ice Cream Co. Antwerp, Aug. 3.--The wedding of Carl L. Brown, Gouverneur, and Miss Minnetta G. Love of Antwerp took place Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the home of the bride with Rev. Ralph E. Gould, pastor of First Baptist church of Gouverneur, performing the ceremony.
"The parlor was decorated with old fashioned flowers. The couple was attended by Miss Electa E. Brown, sister of the bridegroom, and Lewis R. Love, cousin of the bride.
"The bride wore a gown of white satin with lace bolero coat and accessories to match. She carried a bouquet of white sweet peas and babies' breath. Miss Brown was gowned in a sea green crepe and carried a bouquet of various colored sweet peas and babies breath.
"A wedding luncheon followed at the bride's home after which the couple left for a camping trip along Lake Ontario. For her traveling ensemble, Mrs. Brown wore a yellow crepe gown with egg-shell sport coat and accessories to match.
"Mrs. Brown is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Love. She is a graduate of Gouverneur High school, class of 1927. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Delta society. She attended Cortland Normal and was a graduate from Watertown School of Commerce in 1930. since then she has been employed as a typist for the St. Lawrence county clerk in Canton.
"Mr. Brown is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brown of Gouverneur. He graduated from Gouverneur High school in 1926 and from Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam, in 1931. He was a member of the Clarkson band and was secretary of the A.I.E.E. during his senior year. He is now employed by the J. M. Horton Ice Cream company at Gouverneur as their electrician. The couple will reside in West Barney street, Gouverneur.

Love, Miss Doris Love, Lewis R. Love, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Hodgkin and son, Robert, all of Gouverneur, Mrs. Viola Backus, Kenneth Backus, Mrs. Wallace Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Love of Antwerp." [the Watertown Daily Times, Aug. 3, 1932]. Carl Lee Brown (son of Earl Herbert Brown and Alice Evelyn Price) was born on 9 Sep 1905 in Hermon, St. Lawrence, NY. He died in Mar 1977 in Hendersonville, N. C.. He was buried in Riverside cemetery, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, NY. Minnetta G. Love and Carl Lee Brown had the following children:
