Ogdensburg, June 18.--Wilbur Neil, 75, died this morning at 5 at the Rhodes nursing home, where he had been a patient 18 months.
"Funeral services will be held at the Nichols funeral home.
"Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Idel Bockus, address unknown; two brothers, Chester Neil, Edwards, and Robert Neil, Tupper Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Mason, Midland, O., and Mrs. Anna Dodge, state of Washington.
"Mr. Neil formerly was employed in a box factory at Copenhagen and in gas stations at Gouverneur and Antwerp." He was buried in Hillside cemetery, Antwerp, Jefferson, NY.

Lottie Harriet Bates (daughter of Joseph Bates) was born about 17 Feb 1888. Birthdate based on reported age at death. She died on 21 Dec 1912 in Antwerp, Jefferson, NY. Antwerp, Dec. 24.--Mrs. Lottie Neil, wife of Wilbur Neil, died at the family home in Maple avenue this village Saturday evening at about 5. She had been ill for sometime past and gradually failed until her death Saturday. She was a daughter of Joseph Bates of this village and is survived by her husband and one sister, Miss Blanche Bates of this village, and one brother, Edward Bates of Rochester.
"The funeral was held from St. Paul's Episcopal church Monday afternoon at 2. Rev. Fred J. Davis of the Episcopal church had charge of the services. Interment was made in Hillside cemetery." Rothwell, both of Copenhagen were married at 8 Sat. evening by Rev. T. Raynor, Curate of Trinity Episcopal Church at the parish house. they were attended by Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Babcock." "Copenhagen, Sept. 7. -- Mrs. Carrie Niel, 59 , wife of Wilbur Neil, Antwerp, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Adelaide More, Washington street at 1:54 this morning.
"Mrs. Neil had been ill since early in June when she suffered a shock at her home. She recovered to the extent that she was able to be around and was visiting at the home of her sister when she was stricken with a cerebral Hemorrhage. For the past ten days her condition had been critical.
"She was born Aug. 6, 1881, one of twin daughters and also one of eight children of the late Henry and Agnes Wilson Rothwell of Jasper, Ont. After the death of her parents, she moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, and later to Vancouver, British Columbia, coming to Copenhagen in 1906.
"On Aug. 10, 1918, she was married to Wilbur Neil of Copenhagen in the Trinity church in Watertown, by Rev. Charles T. Raynor. They made their home in Copenhagen until 1925 when they moved to Antwerp where Mr. Neil operates a gas station on the corner of Willow street and the Gouverneur road.
"Mrs. Neil was a communicant of the St. Paul's church, Antwerp, and a member of the Rebecca lodge at Copenhagen.
"Surviving besides her husband are: A sister, Mrs. Adelaide More, Copenhagen; a brother, William H. Rothwell, Ottawa, Ont.; a niece, Mrs. Hazel Sterling, Rome; and two nephews, Harry Smith, Rome, and Lyle More, Carthage. There are also several nieces and nephews residing in Canada. Her twin sister died in 1898.
"Prayer services will be held Monday at the home of Mrs. More in this village at 1 p.m. (E.D.T.) and from St. Paul's church in Antwerp at 2:30. Rev. William Tullberg, rector, will officiate. "Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and evening.
"Rites set for Mrs. Idell Neil. Gouverneur, Aug. 14.--The funeral for Mrs. Idell Bacon Neil, 58, of 183 Grove street, widow of Wilbur Neil, who died Thursday morning at Edward John Noble hospital after a long illness, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Sprague funeral home. Rev. Donald W. Barton, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Antwerp.
"Mrs. Neil is survived by her mother, Mrs. Dora Bacon, Antwerp.
"Mrs. Neil was born Nov. 9, 1905, at Antwerp, daughter of Clark and Dora Hull Bacon. She attended school at Antwerp where she was employed at the Frazier dry goods store until her marriage to Wilbur Neil in 1949 at Clayton.
"The couple operated service stations at Potsdam and Gouverneur for several years. After his death in 1951, Mrs. Neil worked at a Cranberry Lake motel. She had resided at Gouverneur four years."
