“Mrs. Cunningham was a cook at Calico Kitchen, Circle Inn and later at a day-care center in Leavenworth, Kan.
“Born Dec. 15, 1948, in Gouverneur, a daughter of Harold G. and Helen R. Hughto Raven, she attended Gouverneur area schools and married Ralph E. Cunningham on Dec. 6, 1969, in Carthage.
“Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. James (Joanie M.) Cole, Gouverneur; four brothers, Warren W. Raven, Madrid, Donald F. Raven, Groton, Phillip G. Raven, Carthage, and Timothy H. Raven, Gouverneur; four sisters, Mrs. Paul (Barbara A.) Kalowski, Leavenworth, Glenda J. Raven, Gouverneur, Leanore A. Raven, Watertown, Kathleen R. Sloan, Gouverneur; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
“A sister, Margaret Tyler, and a son, Jeffery S., died before her. Another son died in infancy.
“The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Green Funeral Home with Monsignor Gerald Service, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hailesboro Cemetery.
“Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. “ She was buried in Hailesboro cemetery, Hailesboro, St. Lawrence, NY. Ralph E. Cunningham and Evelyn Raven had the following children:

Gouverneur. The funeral for Jeffery S. Cunningham, 23, Rock Island Road, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Green Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Service, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hailesboro Cemetery.
“Mr. Cunningham died Saturday afternoon in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash Oct. 7 on State Route 58 in the Town of Edwards.
“Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
“Contributions may be made to the Gouverneur Volunteer Rescue Squad, Edward John Noble Hospital of Gouverneur or the House of the Good Samaritan.
“Surviving are his mother, Evelyn Cunningham, Leavenworth, Kan.; his father, Ralph Cunningham, Gouverneur; his paternal grandparents, Douglas and Dorothy Cunningham, Oxbow; a sister, Joan Cunningham, Leavenworth; a half-brother, Keith Young, Harrisville; a niece, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
“He was born Dec. 30, 1966, in Watertown, a son of Ralph and Evelyn Raven Cunningham. He attended Gouverneur schools.
“Mr. Cunningham had been employed at Time Saver Oil Change on Arsenal Street in Watertown for the past 2 1/2 years.
“He was an avid hunter.”
