NY, as follows: "Accident Victim's Rites Set. Heuvelton -- The
funeral for Stanley D. Harris, 41, Heuvelton, R.D. 1, who died Friday at 6:15
p.m. in a one-car accident on the Pope Mills Road, will be today at 2 p.m. at
the Fox Funeral Home, Heuvelton.
"Rev. William A. Masters will officiate. Burial will be in Redwood Cemetery.
"Surviving are his wife, June; four sons, Rick, James, Terry and Stanley
Jr., and a daughter, Lisa, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Cunningham,
Oxbow; a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Eleanor) Fleming, Rossie,; two brothers, Murlyn
and William, Rossie, two half-brothers, Gerald and Ralph Cunningham, Gouverneur
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
"He was born at Oxbow, Oct. 4, 1937, son of George and Dorothy Harris,
and attended Antwerp schools. He married June Ayen of Hammond, April 12, 1958
at Gouverneur.
"Mr. Harris served in the army from 1958 until 1962 and had worked as
a mechanic for 14 years for the Groveton Paper Co., Natural Dam.
"He and Mrs. Harris lived in the town of Macomb for three years until
moving to the Pope Mills Road where they had since lived." He lived in
Heuvelton, St. Lawrence, NY. He was buried in Redwood cemetery, Redwood,
Jefferson, NY. Stanley David Harris and June Elizabeth Ayen were
engaged on 7 Mar 1958 in Rossie, St. Lawrence, NY. "Miss June
Ayen Engaged To Wed Stanley Harris. Rossie, March 7.-- Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Ayen
announce the engagement of their daughter, June Elizabeth, to Stanley David Harris
of Oxbow. He is the son of Mrs. Dorothy Cunningham and the late George Harris.
"Miss Ayen attended Hammond Central school. Mr. Harris attended Antwerp
High school. He also served three years in the army.
