- ABSTRACT: Records of the Cayuga Chapter, D.A.R., of Ithaca, including minutes, accounts, annual reports, correspondence, receipts, scrapbooks on chapter activities, photographs and clippings. There is also genealogical data on Revolutionary soldiers buried in Tompkins County, and on the Wisner and Griswold families. Other items include a few Civil War letters; excerpts from minutes of the Cayuga Chapter, 1892-1943; lists of artifacts on deposit in DeWitt Historical Society; typed papers delivered at meetings; scrapbooks of genealogy clippings from a New England newspaper; and many printed yearbooks. There are also two copies of MS. notes on old houses and families, apparently of Lisle, Broome County, made, c.1940.

- NOTES: The Daughters of the Revolution (D of R) was a women's patriotic association similar to but entirely separate from the Daughters of the American Revolution. It is now dissolved.
- ABSTRACT: Minutes, correspondence, constitution, financial records, membership applications, historical notes and essays, photographs, newsletters, scrapbooks, clippings, and other records of the local chapter of the D of R, with material from the national conventions as well as from the Long Island Society and the New York Society of the D of R. Included is considerable genealogical material on various members, particularly material on the Brush family. Historical material includes copies of deeds, wills, and cemetery records; a scrapbook on the history of Suffolk County, N.Y.; and notes and essays, with transcriptions of records, on the Caroline Church (Episcopal), Setauket, 1822-1933; Setauket Presbyterian Church, 1745-1930; histories of Setauket, Stony Brook, Mount Sinai, and Brookhaven; records of Rev. Joshua Hartt of Smithtown, 1744-1826; Rev. Daniel Jones of Brookhaven, 1857-1897; and the Methodist Episcopal Church of Setauket, 1843-1910.
