- PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 2 boxes.
- NOTES: Arrangement: by family member. Oneida County, N.Y. family. Ebenezer Knibloe served as pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Amenia Union, N.Y. in the late eighteenth century. Anson Knibloe was the New York State Assembly representative from Oneida County, N.Y. in 1840. He also served in the state militia. In 1844 he married Sophia Wolcott, daughter of Samuel Wolcott, after the death of his first wife Harriet in 1842. Knibloe moved to Fulton, Oswego County, N.Y. in 1840's.
- ABSTRACT: The collection contains the papers of Ebenezer Knibloe, Anson Knibloe and Samuel Wolcott. Included are the sermons and notes of Ebenezer and a biographical sketch of him. The papers of Anson make up the bulk of the
collection. These papers include correspondence, 1835-1859; land papers, 1850-1865; bills and receipts, 1830-1850; and genealogy papers. The papers of Samuel Wolcott include his diary, 1819-1843 and his correspondence, 1825-1835.
