- ABSTRACT: Land records, letters, financial and legal papers, military papers, and miscellany of the Fox family, mostly land contracts and indentures between Fox family members and others. The earliest item is an agreement between Johan Hess and Frederick Bellinger, and Lewis Morris for land in Canajoharie. Peter Fox's military papers include regimental orders of the Palatine regiment of the New York State Artillery, 1816, of which Fox was colonel. People represented include Arch, Christopher, Elizabeth, Margaret, Peter, and Philip Fox, Charles and A. Hamilton Ayres, and others.
