Wooden and Nicholson Cemeteries

Junius, Seneca County, New York

James Wooden came in 1796 settling 2 1/2 miles northeast of Geneva. Daniel Nicholson bought land adjoining James Wooden. It is said that one day the two men were out walking when one chose his burial ground on one side of the fence and the other one on the other side. These two cemeteries lie side by side, on the edge of a golf course.
