"Rev. James A. Nally, present [1896] pastor of the First Baptist church of Waterloo, was born in the city of Syracuse, February 19, 1866. After receiving his education, he was ordained to the ministry, June 7, 1894. He was called to the pastorate of the Baptist church in Waterloo, May 15, 1895. February 14, 1893, he married Mrs. Atla M. Matteson, of Syracuse, and they have one child. His work in Waterloo is very acceptable, and the church is thriving under his care."
