Credit:"This cemetery is in very poor condition. It is mowed once or twice a year but many of the stones are broken and buried or are fallen on the ground in such a position that it is impossible to read them. Many of them are so weathered and pitted that it is difficult to be sure of the letters and numbers on the inscriptions. The spelling of the names is copied just as on the stones and any differences are the fault of the stone cutters." Copied May 1, 1965 by K.P. Kellogg and C.W. Fegley, provided for the Seneca Co., NYGenWeb page by Betty Auten, former Seneca Co. Historian.

Additional note: I visited this cemetery myself in May, 1997. It had been mowed but only a very few stones are visible. If you would like to see a couple of photos of the cemetery, please click here. I personally am very grateful that someone took the time to inventory the stones 30+ years ago since some of my ancestors are here. Without this listing, I would have little information on them.
