Warren V. Davis obituary

Warren V. Davis, aged 46 years, 1 month and 18 days, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt Davis, deceased, died at Lakeside hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, Dec. 20, 1923. he was taken sick Nov. 26th and on Dec. 8th was taken to the hospital. 12 days later the end came. He died of pneumonia. He is survived by one son and one daughter and two brothers, Birdsel of Cleveland, who was with him at the time of his death, and Floyd, an older brother who when last heard from some six or eight years ago, lived in Nome City, Alaska.

The first week in September Warren and Birdsel accompanied the remains of their mother to this place for burial.

Mr. Davis was born here and lived here until a few years ago. When living here he became a member of LaBastile Lodge, I. O. O. F., and never changed his membership. He was a man of industry and good principles. he was a deacon in the Lutheran church in the city where he lived. His early death brings sadness to many. His remains were brought here Monday and his funeral will be held Thursday. The sympathy of all goes out to the two fatherless children and the bereaved brother Birdsel.
