     Franklin, April 23. - Thomas Bouck died at his home on Lower Main street this morning, aged 69 years. He had been ill for the last six months, but was not confined to his bed until yesterday. He was a son of Jacob and Eliza (Braymen) Bouck and was born in Middleburg on March 5, 1849.
     Deceased was married on July 4, 1867, to Mary Katherine Warner of Schoharie. he came to Franklin on Oct. 17, 1877, and had lived here ever since. he worked for Charles Warner of the Franklin Marble works. After Mr. Warner's death, B. J. Warner, a son, took over the business. Mr. Bouck remained with the firm until his illness.
     He was a member of the Franklin Methodist Episcopal church and was always a faithful, consistent member. He will be missed almost as much in the church as in the home.
     Mr. Bouck is survived by his wife and six children, Jacob, of South Kortright, Charles and Clyde of Otego, William and Carleton of this place, and Mrs Henry Retz of Walton. A sister, Mrs. Albert Rickard of Schoharie, also survives.
     Funeral services will be held at the late home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. G. E. Robinson, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate and interment will be made in Ouleout cemetery.
