Hagadorn-Mace Cemetery
Livingstonville, Town of Broome, Schoharie County, NY

All the tombstones in this cemetery are registered at Old Stone Fort Museum. They might be listed under Mary Woods cemetery or Mace/Hagadorn. When we transcribed these stones in this cemetery for the museum they let us name the cemetery because they had no knowledge of the cemeteries whereabouts or existence. so we named it after the caretaker that lived on the grounds when we were kids. I knew of this cemetery because I spent my summers upstate with my grandmother and use to go in this cemetery often with my cousins. As we grew up we got to wondering about the families in the cemetery. I got a copy of the deed to this cemetery from the Schoharie courthouse. I found out the property I currently owned was once owned by the Hagadorns. One day out of boredom my cousin and I got a hold of a map from 1866 and were able to map out where most of the land from the people who were buried here. Nancy Calchi
