Robert Taylor obituary

October 29, 1931
(The Middleburgh News)

Robert Taylor, seventy-three, died suddenly at his home in the village of Middleburgh, on Tuesday afternoon. Death was due to angina pectoris. Only a few minutes before his death he had been out in the yard of his home and had come into the house to sit down. His wife noticed he acted strange and spoke to him. He did not answer but took three deep breaths and passed away. Last September he was taken with a poor spell and since that time he has not been able to venture away from his home and had not been in the business section once. Mr. Taylor was born at Pine Bush, where he followed farming until ten years ago when he moved to Middleburgh village. He was a quiet and peaceful citizen and had many friends. He is survived by his widow. Funeral will be held at the late home Friday at 1 o'clock. Burial at Pine Grove.
