Letters of Administration on the Estate of Richard Parks Dec�d.

The people of the State of New York By the Grace of God free and independent To Polly Parks Widow of Richard Parks deceased send greetings whereas Richard Parks late of Broome in the county of Schoharie as is alledged lately died intestate having whilst living and at the time of his death goods chattels or credits within this state, by means whereof the ordering and granting administration of all and singular the said goods, chattels and credits and also of the auditing allowing and finally discharging the account thereof doth appurtain unto us: and we being desirous, that the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased may be will and faithfully administered applied and disposed of do grant unto you the said Polly Parks full power by these presents, to administer and faithfully to dispose of all and singular the said goods chattels and credits to ask, demand, recover and receive the debts which unto the said deceased whilst living and at the time of his death did belong and to pay the debts which the said deceased did owe, so far as such goods chattels and credits will these to extend and the law require: Hereby requiring you to make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to your hands po�se�sion or knowledge, and the same so made to exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the office of the surrogate of the said county of Schoharie at or before the expiration of two calandar months from the date hereof and also to render a just a true account of administration when thereunto required. And we do by these presents depute constitute and appoint you the said Polly Parks administratice of all and singular the goods chattels and credits which of the said Richard Parks deceased.

In testimony whereof we have caused the seal of office of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed � Witne�s William Mann Esquire, Surrogate of the said county at Schoharie the second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine and of our independence the fifty third year.

 Schoharie County: I certify that on the second day of February 1829 personally appeared before me the said Surrogate Ebenezer Palmer who being duly sworn testified that some time in the fore part of October last Richard parks died at Broome in said county intestate as he believes � Also Jonathan Parks who confirms the same facts and further say that the person estate of the said deceased is worth about one hundred and fifty dollars � whereupon Letters of Administration were granted to the widow the said deceased according to the statute.
