Russel H. Bresee obituary

    Russel H. Bresee of 104 North Grand street, Cobleskill, died Oct. 25, 1958 at the Haven Manor rest home. He had been in failing health for quite some time and had been a patient at the home for two months.
     He was born Dec. 31, 1871 in Sherburne, the son of I. Miles and Esther Franklin Bresee. His wife is the former Eva L. McQuade.
     Mr. Bresee is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Bresee, of Cobleskill; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Putnam, Cobleskill; Mrs. J. A. Jackson, Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Harriet Dinsmore, Florida. Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
     Mr. Bresee formerly resided in Lebanon and was a milk tester for the Dairy Herd Improvement association. He was a member of the Lebanon Baptist church and had resided in Cobleskill for the past nine years.
     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beecher funeral home, Earlville, under direction of Mereness funeral home, Cobleskill. The Rev. Eugene Umberger of Cobleskill officiated with burial in Sherburne Vest  Hill cemetery, Sherburne.
