Norman W. Paddock obituary

contributed by Russ Tallman

The sad news received here by telephone last week, Thursday morning, of the death of Norman W. Paddock, merchant at Central Bridge, which occurred at that place that morning, created profound sorrow here, where he was widely known and highly esteemed. The deceased was a son of Judge William Paddock, a leading citizen of the neighboring village, oak Hill, Greene county, where deceased was born, and formerly, in connection with his brother Wellman, carried on mercantile business. The funeral services were held from the Methodist church in oak Hill, Monday, and were largely attended. The widow of the deceased, who has been an invalid for years, was, on that account, unable to be at the funeral.
