Mrs. Coons Passes Away At Age Of Seventy Two
Dies at Son's Home, After a Long Illness
She was Born in Middleburgh
February 17, 1927

     Mrs. Mary Wereley Coons, 72, died at the home of her son, William Coons of Frankford the past week, after being in poor health for some time.
     She was born in this village August, 1854, and was married 31 years later to the late Chauncey Coons. She was a sister of the late Levi Werely who was connected with the firm Vaughton & Werely of this place. She was also a member of the Lutheran Church of Berne and of the Holdredge Bible Class in her home village. Burial at West Berne.
