     Funeral services for Mrs. Moses Bevins were conducted at the Palmer and Shaylor Funeral home, Tuesday morning, Dec. 15, by the Rev. Edward Wiediger, pastor of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Burial was made in the Middleburgh Cemetery.
    
 Mrs. Bevins, a resident of Middleburgh for the past 50 years, died at her home on Upper Main Street, Saturday morning, Dec. 12, 1959. She was born in Oneonta July 1, 1884, and was the daughter of Frank and Virginia McMullen Carouse.
     She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Adams of Schenectady and Mrs. Vincent Wronkowski of Middleburgh; a sister, Mrs. Mable Schflauer of Oneonta; two brothers, William and James Carouse of Otego; 10 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
