Mrs. Purcell, Cobleskill, Dies at 81

     Cobleskill - Mrs. Lila Mae Purcell, 81, died yesterday in her home, 44 Quarry St.
     She was born in the Town of Seward and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul's Church.
     Surviving are five sons and two daughters, Thomas Purcell 3rd of Cobleskill, Alton Purcell of Boston, Raymond Purcell of Aurora, Colo., John Purcell of Southbridge, Mass., Francis Purcell of Cobleskill; Mrs. Leon Pratt of Amsterdam and Mrs. Minard MacNeil of Cobleskill; a sister, Mrs. Marvin Bellinger of Sharon Springs; 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
     A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rv. William Way at 10 a.mm. Wednesday in St. Vincent de Paul's Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at Robert A. Guffin Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
