"In the name of God Amen, I Jacob Hone of the town of Cherry Valley in the county of Otsego and state of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, Blefsed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in mannor and four following that is to say first. I give and bequeth unto my beloved wife Dorothy Hone the east room in my now dwelling house, the use and privilege of the cellar and kitchen under the same sufficient for her use and convenience together with the ways and paths and pafsages to the same- to hold to my said wife Dorothy so long as she remain my widow, and I further give and bequeath to my said wife the grey mare that I now own two cows, five sheep, six chairs, one blue corner cupboard, one chest with drawers, one blue clothes chest, one trunk marked A. L., one fall leaf table one candle stand one looking glafs, one p?air and irons one fire shovel and one pair tongs two brafs candle sticks the block and block case that I now own, all her wearing apparel, two bedsteds, and cords, two feather beds with straw ticks and sufficients closhing for the same, two sets bed curtains two kettles and one bake kettle and one tea kettle one frying pan and one spider, one wafhing tub three pails and one churn, the woumans ? saddle that I now own and one bridle, one large and one small spinning wheel, one reel?, the use of the loom that I now own with all its apparatus when ever she wants one set silver teaspoons one tea pot one set cups and saucers, one milk cup and one sugar bowl, two soup platters twelve earthen plates six earthen bowls, two pewter platters, six pewter plates, one pint pewter cup, one tin water or whitening pot, one set candle moulds, two earthen pitchers, one salt cellar and one pepper box, two table cloths and towels, two milk keelers and four cream pots, one set knives and forks one set tablespoons one silk umbrella and two set window curtains- and further I do will and order that if any of the articles or any portion of the property herein before named is or are not so particularly described as to be easily designated that then my said wife shall or may have her choice out of the whole of the articles and property of the like kind as is herein before named as aforesaid and if which I now pofsefs; and also I do further will and order that my said wife shall be found all necessary provifsions, her mare, cows and sheep kept during the term of one year after my decease by my son William and at his one expense-. I do also give and bequeath to my eldest daughter Margaret McKoy the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid to her by my son Christopher in such sums and at such times as my executors shall direct and according as her necefsity may require, and that if she should not want the said sum one one hundred dollars as aforesaid that then the sum shall be paid to her son John McKoy, when he shall become of lawful age also I give and bequeath to my youngest daughter Catherine the sum of fifty dollars to be paid to her by my son Jacob within one year after my decease and I further give and bequeath to my said daughter Catherine one Each? her choice out of the whole after her mother has taken two five Eive?P?rufs ave? bedsted and cord, one good feather bet a straw tick and sufficient closhing for the same one large spinning wheel and six common chairs- I also give and bequeath to my oldest son Henry the sum of two hundred dollars to be paid by my son Jacob within four years after my decease, and I further give and devise to my eldest son Henry his heirs and afsigns all that ? certain piece of land situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid being all the land that I own on the ____h side of the road that leads from my now dwelling house past the said Henry�s- Also I give and devise ? to my youngest son Harmanus all that equal undivided hath of all that certain farm piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid and where on the said that equal undivided half of all that certain farm piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid and where on the said Harmanas now lives, and also that equal undivided half of fifteen acres of land adjoining the farm above named being part of the lot of land herein before to my son Henry to hold to him the said Harmanus his heirs and afsigns forever- Also I give and bequeath to my son Jacob one horse to be worth sixty dollars and I further give and devise to my said son Jacob all that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid being the same conveyed to my by Cornelius Simmons and Peggy his wife by Deed bearing the date January the third one thousand eight hundred and three to hold to the said Jacob his heirs and afsigns forever- Also I give and bequeath to my son William one horse to be worth eighty dollars one set horse harnefs, one freight sleigh one patent plow the taking his choice of the harnefses sleighs and plows, one cow, four sheep all my carpenters tools and one harrow; Further I give and devise to my said son William all that certain farm piece or parcel of land with the appurtenances ? situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid being the same whereon I now reside to hold to thee said William his heirs and afsigns forever- Also I give and bequeath to my son Christopher one horse to be worth sixty Dollars one cow and four sheep further I give and devise to my said son Christopher all that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid being the sum conveyed to me by Warren Doty and his wife Sarah by Deed bearing the date August the twenty fourth one thousand eight hundred and one to hold to the said Christopher his heirs and afsigns forever Also I give and bequeath to my son David the sum of fifty dollars the one half to be paid by my son William & the other half by my son Christopher at the discretion of my executors for & toward the education of my said son David further I give and bequeath to my son David the sum of one hundred Dollars to be paid by my said son William when the said David shall become of lawful age and further I give & devise to my said son David all that equal undivided half of all that certain farm piece or parcel of land situate in the town of Cherry Valley aforesaid & whereon my said son Harmanus now lives And also all that equal undivided half of fifteen acres of land adjoining the farm above named being part of the lot of land herein before given to my son Henry to hold to the said David his heirs & afsigns forever And Lastly as to all the rest? & residual? & remainder of my personal estate goods & chattels of what kind & nature forever I give & bequeath to my seven youngest children & to the children of my oldest daughter to be equally divided among them that is all the children of my said? Daughter to shall equal to one of my children & no more And I also hereby appoint my said beloved wife Dortha Hone William H Blafss of Sharon & Thomas Swifto? of Cherry Valley my executors of this my last will & testament hereby revoking all former will by me made In ___??
