Mrs. Hobart Mace death notice

Livingstonville - Mrs. Hobart Mace, who has been a great sufferer from heart disease, died Dec 5th [1898] aged 36 years. The funeral was held Dec. 8th, at the residence of her father. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. Mr. Tyfe.


Memorial Resolutions

Beyond this vale of tears
There is a life above
Unmeasured by the flight of years
And all that life is love.
Whereas, God, according to His infinite wisdom, has seen best to remove to the life above, one of our number, Mrs. Hobart Mace, and, knowing that what is our loss is her eternal gain, and
     Whereas, she was ever kind and loving in her family and to all who knew her, patient in her suffering and ever ready to do her part in our society, be it
     Resolved, that we, as members of the Ladies Home and Foreign Missionary Society, ever strive to carry on the work of our dear Lord and Master, knowing that if we are faithful, we shall meet with our dear ones, and be it further
     Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions, be put upon the records of this society, and also one be sent to each of the local papers and to the immediate members of the family.
