Elijah W. Crippen obituary

     Elijah W. Crippen, ninety-four, died the past week at the home of his daughter Mrs. Harvey Becker in Huntersland. He was a member of the Christian Church and for many years was a deacon. He was a farmer by occupation. Several years ago he bought a place at Guilderland Center and resided there until the death of his wife about ten years ago, and then went to live with his daughter. For the past two years he was totally blind. He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Harvey Becker, and one son Fred Crippen of Guilderland Center. Funeral was held at the Christian Church, Huntersland, the Rev. C. H. Hallenbeck of Ravena, officiating. Burial at Huntersland.
