Elmer Hallenbeck Dies of Pneumonia; Was Franklinton Merchant
January 12, 1928

     Elmer Hallenbeck who conducted the general store at Franklinton for several years, died at the Albany hospital on Monday as a result of pneumonia which developed following a successful operation for the removal of gallstones a few days before.
     Mr. Hallenbeck was about 60 years of age, an active, energetic and successful business man, whose death is a loss to the community which he served.
     He was a member of Middleburgh Lodge, No. 663, F. & A. M. The only survivor of the family is Wood Hallenbeck, a son.
     The funeral will be held on Thursday at the M. P. church at Franklinton. Masonic services at the interment, conducted by the officers of Middleburgh lodge.
