West Richmondville Lad Killed By Automobile
April 1924

     Richmondville, April 28.—Donald Spaulding, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Spaulding of West Richmondville, was instantly killed this morning at 9 o'clock in front of the school house building on East Main Street, when he was struck by an automobile driven by Eli Becker. The boy jumped from the bus which was carrying children to school from West Richmondville and ran across the street into the automobile which came from the opposite direction.
