LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CHRISTINA SNYDER

The last Will and Testament of Christina Snyder of the town and County of Schoharie Widow of Peter R Snyder, deceased.

I Christina Snyder considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (blessed be Almighty God for the same) to make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say,

First, I give and bequeath to my Daughter Maria the wife of Peter S Swart the sum of Fifty dollars -

Second, I give and bequeath to my Daughter Eve the wife of Peter Miles the sum of One hundred dollars -

Third, I give and bequeath to my daughter Rebecca the wife of William Sloan the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars -

Fourth, I give and bequeath to my son Peter Snyder the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars -

While said funeral legacies or sums of money I will and order to be paid by my Executor hereinafter named to the satisfaction Legalees aforesaice within six months after my decease

Fifth, I give and bequeath to my daughters Cathaline Snyder and Christina Snyder all the rest, residence and remander of my personal estate, goods and chattels of what nature and kind soever equally to be divided between them.

Sixth, I give and devise to my two daughters Cathaline Snyder and Christina Snyder their ----- and ----- All that ----- or tenement situate lying and being in the Village of Schoharie in the County of Schoharie and Boundree as follows viz. On the east by the public highway or street - On the South by a lot belonging to Jacob Gebhard On the west by a lot belonging to Jacob Houcke. And on the north by a lot of Jacob Gebhard, containing one half of an acre of land be the same more or less. Together with all my other foretold estate whatsoever. To have and behold to equally divide between them.

Seventh, I do hereby constitute and appoint my two sons in Law Peter S Swart and Peter Miles Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and forty seven.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet ----- ----- here subscribed by Christina Snyder the Testatrix in presence of each of us; and was at the same time ordain by her to be her last will and testament, And we at her request sign our names hereto as attesting Witnefs -

Christina Snyder dec'd as a Will of Real
& personal Estate

Schoharie County John Gebhard Jr & Peter Osterhout Senior of the town County of Schoharie being personally sworn do depose and say that they are subscribing Witnefs to the last will & testament of Christina Snyder late of the town & county of Schoharie which is now here presented & which ----- date on the 27th of Dec 1847. That they saw this said Christina Snyder
subscribe her name to said will & that she did at the same time publish & proclaim the same as her last will & testament & requested these deponents to suscribe the same as Witnefses to said will That deponents then & there did subscribe their names as witnefses to said will in the presece of the testatrix and of each other & at the request of the said Testatrix, that said Testatrix at the time of the execution of said will was of full age and of sound mind & memory to execute a will & was not under restraint to the knowledge of these deponents & further say ----- -

Schoharie County I Demosthenes Lawyer County Judge of the County aforesaid do certify that the foregoing is a perfect ----- of the last will and testament of this Christina Snyder late of the town of Schoharie in said county, and that the said will is ----- as a ----- of real and personal estate this Second day of June AD 1848
