Mrs Salsburgh's original location description said "located on the 'Ryder Farm', Barnerville, N. Y. owned by Elmer Coons, Situate about 500 feet north of the road leading from Barnerville to Bramanville."

I am a descendent of the Myers family and have been researching my family's history. You may be correct in calling this the Ryder farm as far back as your information goes. I think this is known as the Ryder farm as a Myers daughter, Sally, married Charles Ryder. He took over the farm as the rest of the Myers family, at that time, were girls, and they had no interest in farming. Walter Myers, January 2006
