Notes

Birchard, submitted October 4, 2007, Genevieve Birchard

I recently discovered the good work you have done listing information on graves in Patria Cemetery. Years ago I visited this cemetery while searching for genealogy information--specifically the maiden name of my great, great grandmother Sarah Birchard b. Mar. 8, l782 and d. Apr. l7, l869. While there we noted the grave of Merilla Birchard Bartlett b. Aug. l, l804 and d. Sept. l8, l840. She was the wife of Francis Bartlett and the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Birchard. Perhaps this information would be helpful in your records.
We are still searching for the maiden name of Sarah (maiden name unknown) Birchard born Mar. 8, l782 in Massachusetts and buried with her husband Joseph and daughters Emily and Belinda in Patria Cemetery.
