Was on the Leonard Mountain Road a few weeks ago and as I came down saw this cemetery on the left side of the road. It had been all cleared by someone.
There are about 10 stones visible but only a few that I was able to read. Here is what I got from those. Please note these were difficult to read and may not be correct. Double check any other sources before taking this as being correct. Roger Davis - June 26, 2004

aged 95 years and 25 days

Cynthia A. wife of James
died Jan. 11, 1866 ??
aged 79 years ? 4 months 3 days

Cynthia Selina, daughter of John and Esther Finderberg or Funderberg?
died Jan. 18, 1852
aged 16 years 10 months 3 days

Notes

I think you have found the burial place of my great great great great grandfather, James Stewart. The date and age is the same my sister came up with in her genealogy research. He was a Sgt. in the Revolutionary War in 1775. He married his wife Cynthia on April 9, 1815. Census from 1820 and 1830 locates him in Westerlo, NY. A census from 1840 has him in Broome, NY. She found out he was buried in Leonard Mountain Rd Cemetery. We did not know the location of this site until I read your info!          Rick Russell
