Charles Becker obituary

     Charles Becker, son of John and Amanda Becker, died at the home of his parents Nov. 3, 1897; aged 28 years. His funeral was held at the Christian church on Saturday, the 6th, conducted by the pastor and assisted by Rev. Wilson. After the service we laid him beside his loved and lost one to await the coming of Him who will bring them forth and crown them with immortal life in the Redeemer's Kingdom.
     Charles was a good, brave boy, a loving and faithful husband, a tender and devoted father, a kind and affectionate son and brother. No human comfort is sufficient to heal the bleeding hearts of the sorrowful parents, brothers and sisters.
     He left two small children both of which will be tenderly cared for. May God bless this sad bereavement to the good of all.
