Adam Vroman obituary

February 12, 1929

On Sunday last Adam Vroman died at his home at Husons Corners in his 85th year.
Mr. Vroman was a member of one of the pioneer families of the county, an excellent farmer and upright citizen. In the balmy days of hop growing in this county, he and his brother the late Jacob Vroman, cultivated hops extensively on their farm on the Clauverwie road. Later each for himself engaged in dairy farming. Death was due to the infirmities of age.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Warner, with whom his last years were spent.
The funeral was held on Tuesday in the school house at Husons Corners, Rev. Frith of Breakabeen officiating.
