Mrs. Anna (Riley) Veith obituary

Mrs. Anna Veith of
Schoharie died Sept. 2, 1963 at the Community Hospital in Cobleskill after a
short illness. She had been a resident of Schoharie four about a year and a half
having previously resided in Brooklyn.
The widow of the late William Veith, Mrs. Veith was
born in County Galway, Ireland, Nov. 25, 1882, the daughter of James and Molly
(Green) Riley.
She is survived by a son, George Veith of Brooklyn;
three daughters. Mrs. William Reynolds of Schoharie, with whom she made her
home, Mrs. Harold Gatens of Schoharie and Mrs. John Orlowski of Woodhaven, L.I.;
a sister, Mrs. William Freese of Ozone Park, L.I.; four grandchildren, four
great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. this Wednesday at
the Warner funeral home and at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Schoharie, where a
mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by the Rev. Edward McManus. Interment was made
in St. Paul's cemetery, Schoharie.
