Mrs. Anna Cooper Buried Monday
February 1924

Mrs. Anna Cooper, who for more than thirty years had lived with her daughter, Mrs. James L. Baker, of this place, died at the winter home of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Baker, 728 Morris street, Albany, Friday, Feb. 1st, 1924, at 5:30 p. m., after a two weeks’ illness caused by a severe fall. As no bones were broken, at first it was not considered serious but she seemed to be unable to withstand the shock. Fears being entertained for her recovery, her children were sent for. Her daughter, Mrs. Frank Freemyer, who was spending the winter in Florida, arrived in Albany Sunday, Jan. 27th, and was with her at the time of her death.
Mrs. Cooper was born in 1849 and lived many years in Schoharie. After the death of her husband, she came to this place and lived with her daughter, Mrs. Baker.
Mrs. Cooper was a woman of most lovable qualities and endeared herself to all who became acquainted with her. Her death brings sorrow to a large circle of relatives and friends.
Those who survive her are her two daughters, Mrs. James L. Baker and Mrs. Frank Freemyer of Middleburgh, and two sons, William and Thomas, of Schenectady.
The funeral took place Monday afternoon from St. Mark’s Lutheran church, Middleburgh, Rev. L. D. Grandy officiating.
