Mrs. Anna Cox Collins of Sharon Springs died October 14, 1959 at MIB hospital in Cooperstown.

she was born March 4, 1883, in Sharon Springs, the daughter of J. W. VanSchaick and Harriet E. VanSchaick. She was married in 1902 to the late Charles H. Collins who passed away June 25, 1941.

She was a member of the former Baptist Church of Leesville and a member of Sharon Springs Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Services were held Saturday, Oct. 17 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Leesville, with Dr. Herbert D. Shimer and Rev. George Swart officiating. Burial was in Leesville cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Eugene Gilbert with whom she made her home and Lovillo Walter of Chestnut Street Road; a sister Mrs. Ernest Jerden of Sharon Springs, three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
