Former Resident of the Town of Broome Dead
Mrs. Alice Campbell Died at Huntersland Saturday
Was a Daughter of Mr. William D. Borthwick - Had Reached Her Sixty-ninth Year

    Mrs. Alice Campbell, widow of Harvey Campbell, died at Huntersland, Saturday, Oct. 16 aged 69. her death was the result of a cancer of the liver. She had passed the winter with her daughter in New Jersey and only a few weeks ago returned to Albany. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Borthwick and was a native of the town of Broome. Two brothers, Rev. M. W. Borthwick and Melvin Borthwick, died several years ago. She is survived by one son, Omer Borthwick, and two daughters, Mrs. Emma Turner of Huntersland and Mrs. Sill of New Jersey. Her remains were brought to Huntersland and her funeral took place from the Christian church Tuesday, Rev. E. O. Brown officiating.
