HANNIBAL CEMETERY SURVEYS

     A monumental project has been underway for some time now, in Oswego County, to take a survey and census of all the known cemeteries in the county. Volunteers from the community and various township Historical Societies have been coordinating their efforts with the Oswego County Genealogy Society, in helping to update local cemetery records.
    For information on any of the cemeteries in Oswego County, please contact Charlene Cole, at the Oswego County Genealogy Society, 384 East River Rd., Oswego, NY, 13126, or by phone (315) 695-2820, or the local Town Historian.
    For further information on any of the names listed on the Hannibal cemeteries, please contact Lowell C. Newvine, Town Historian, Hannibal Historical Society. If you know of any additional names not included on these lists, please let him know, or Charlene Cole, at the above address, so that they can be added to the cemetery records.
