I have a very old chair that has a small engraved
plate on the back inscribed "Stanislas Pascal Franchot 1774-1855".
It appears to be in original condition. From what I have read he
wrote a thorough narrative of Oswego in the pioneer days. Here are
the pics of the chair. I dont know much about it but I thought it
may be important history of your area. Please let me know if you
have any info on it or contact me if you want more info or pics.
