Northern Christian Advocate - January 17, 1894, Page 47

Peter HUTT was born in North Williamstown, Oswego County, New York, and died at Ricard, Oswego County, New York, November 2, 1893, aged thirty-five years.  For several months he had been battling with a disease which was slowly bur surely doing its work.  Not a word or murmur of complaint was ever heard to pass his lips through these long weeks of suffering.  He only expressed a desire, if it were God's will, to be spared to his family.  He was respected by all who knew him, a good citizen, a kind husband and an indulgent father.  He united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, June 4, 1885, and lived a true and consistent Christian.  His last testimony in class meeting, but a few weeks before his death, was an illustration of his faith in God.  He was not afraid to die, knowing that he in whom he had trusted would not forsake him in the last hour.  He leaves a wife and two children.  The funeral service was held at the home of the deceased, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. B. M. PHELPS.  His body rests in the beautiful cemetery at Williamstown, Oswego County, New York.
