Obituary
for Charles H. Bourlier, 8 Dec 1927
PULASKI, Dec. 8 - Charles H. Bourlier, 69,
native of Oswego county, died, yesterday at his home in Pennelville following
a short illness with pneumonia.
Mr. Bourlier was born
April 17, 1858, in the town of Palermo. He was for a time engaged as a
cheese maker at the factories in Gilbert Mills and at Colosse. He located
to Pennelville eight years ago.
Besides his wife, Mrs.
Ida Bourlier, he is survived by one son, Adrian Bourlier of Gilbert Mills,
two brothers, Frank Bourlier of Fulton and George Bourlier of Michigan,
two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wheler of Central Square and Mrs. Sarah Conrad of
Pennelville.
Funeral will Be held
from the family home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be made
in Pennelville cemetery. Paul K. Foster of Pulaski is the undertaker.

for Floyd L. Bourlier, 16 Feb 1972
FULTON - Floyd L. Bourlier, 80, of 811 Emery
St., Fulton, died Tuesday at an area nursing home. Born in Palermo, he
was a resident of the area all his life. Before retirement he was employed
at the American Woolen Works and later by the State Highway Department.
Surviving
are an aunt, Mrs. Mae Smith of Central Square and three cousins. Services
will be Friday at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Upson's Corners
Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Thursday at Young and Son Funeral Home.

DEATH OF H. BOURLIER Conducted
a General Store at East Palermo Over Forty Years-Burial at Upsons Corners
Cemetery.
Henry
Bourlier, aged sixty-nine years, passed away at his home in this village,
Sunday, Feb. 13. He had been in ill health for some time.
Mr.
Bourlier conducted a general store at East Palermo over forty years and
enjoyed the respect and high esteem of a large circle of friends. Four
years ago he sold his business and came to Central Square to reside, where
he has made many warm friendships.
Besides
his widow the deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. George Smith of
Central Square, two grandchildren, Floyd Bourlier of Fulton and Thomas
Smith of Central Square; four brothers and two sisters-George Bourlier
of Chaffee, NY; Charles Bourlier of Caughdenoy; Frank Bourlier of Euclid;
Peter Bourlier and Mrs. Mary Wheeler of Central Square, and Mrs. Sarah
Conrad of Pennelville.
The
funeral was held at the family home at 12 o'clock Wednesday, Rev. E. C.
Love. paster of the Methodist Episcopal church of this village officiating.
Burial was made at Upsons Corners Cemetery.

FUNERALS TOMORROW OF MEN KILLED BY CLUB CAR
Peter Bourlier, 56, Central Square, and George
Rudeau, 62, of Mallory, Struck at Crossing.
Special to
the Post-Standard, Central Square, June 25.-The funeral of Peter Bourlier,
56, of this village, and George Rudeau, 62, of Mallory who were killed
at Swader's crossing yesterday morning will be held Tuesday. Services for
Mr. Rudeau will be held at 9:30 o'clock in the morning at St. Matthews
Church, Father McCormick officiating, with burial in Mexico. The funeral
for Mr. Bourlier will be held at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at the house.
Mr.
Bourlier was driving in his automobile to his home in this village from
Mallory yesterday morning, with Mr. Rudeau as a passenger, when he collided
with the engine of the Club Train from the Thousand Islands to Syracuse.
They were thrown some distance and killed instantly.
Coroner
W.G.Babcock of Cleveland was notified and had the bodies taken to the undertaking
rooms of Delmer L. Wood. Mr. Bourlier had a cheese factory at Mallory and
was returning to his farm near here for dinner, as was his daily custom.
He leaves his widow and two children.
Obituary
for Peter C. Bourlier, 27 April 1905
Peter
C. Bourlier, one of Phoenix's most respected citizens, was born in southern
France, Sept 18, 1823, and passed away Monday, April 24th, in the 82d year
of his age. Mr. Bourlier came to America in 1835 and settled with his parents
near Hastings. In August, 1845, he married Mary Racine, who died Sept 11,
1879. From that union seven children were born, all of whom survive: Henry
Bourlier of Palermo, George Bourlier of Gilbert Mills, Mrs. Mary Wheeler
of Palermo, Mrs. Sarah Conrad of Gilbert Mills, Charles Bourlier of Caughdenoy,
Peter Bourlier of Central Square, and Frank Bourlier of Euclid.
In
June, 1881, he married Miss Carrie Youles, who survives him, and by that
union a son was born, Bert R. Bourlier, of this village.
Mr.
Bourlier died from the results of two recent strokes of paralysis. The
funeral services will be held from the family residence this afternoon
at 2 o'clock, Rev R.T.Cooper of the Methodist church officiating. The Grange,
of which he was an honored member, will participate in the services. The
burial will be in the Phoenix Rural Cemetery.

for Vern E. Bourlier, Abt 5 Sep 1926
PENNELVILLE, Death of Vern E. Bourlier
Our community was shocked on Sunday morning to hear of the sudden death
at Parish of Vern E. Bourlier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bourlier of
this place. He had been ill but a few days, when he suddenly became paralyzed
and died of polio in a few hours.
He
is survived by his wife, daughter Lavern, his parents and brother Adrian
of Gilberts Mills. Funeral services were held at the cemetery at Pennelville
Monday morning at 11:30.

for Millard F. Bourlier, 25 April 1912
CAUGHDENOY MAN DIES. Millard Bourlier, But
26 Years Old Leaves Widow and Small Child.
Caughdenoy, April 25. - Deep sorrow was
felt in this village upon the passing away April 12 at Jackreef of Millard
Bourlier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bourlier (ie Charles Bourlier) who are residents
here. Mr. Bourlier was born at Hinmanville and was in his 26th year. Four
years ago he married Miss Bertha Barker, of South Butler, Wayne county.
In addition to his widow he leaves a 21/2-year-old son, Burdette. He is
survived by his parents, two brothers, Vern Bourlier of West Monroe, and
Adrian Bourlier of Caughdenoy. The funeral services were held April 15
and the body was removed to Pennelville for interment. Sincere sympathy
is expressed by the many friends of the bereaved widow and parents.
