PROBATE: 14 Jan 1901
In the name of God, Amen:
I, Morgan
Van Buren of the Town of Volney County of Oswego and State of
New York, aged 65 years, being of sound mind and memory, do make, ordain,
publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, in manner and
form following, that is to say:
First,-
After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give, bequeath and
devise unto Mrs. Alma Van Buren, widow of Edgar Van Buren, dec'd. all my
interest in the property in Fulton of which Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts has
the use under the will of our Father John Van Buren deceased.
Second,-
I give devise and bequeath to Miss. Bernice Monk the sum of five hundred
dollars, To Mount Adnah Cemetery Association the sum of one hundred dollars
to provide for the care of my lot in said cemetery.
Third,-
I direct my executor hereinafter named to remove the remains of my Father
and Mother from their present burial place, to the lot in Mount Adnah Cemetery
and also to remove the Monument from the present lot to my said lot in
Mount Adnah.
Fourth,-
I direct my executor to care for and provide for the support of Elizabeth
Quirk during her natural life, out of my home farm.
Fifth,- Subject
to the legacies in the second clause of this
Will, and to the expense of carrying
out the provisions of the 3d, and 4th, clauses of this will, I give devise
and bequeath my home farm to my friend Edward Quirk.
Sixth,- I give
and devise my undivided one half interest in the "Cooper Lot" so called,
to my niece Grace Tackabery of Canastota, N.Y. and to Edward Quirk of Fulton,
N.Y. share and share alike. I hereby authorize and empower my executor
to sell and convey any real property of which I may die seized.
Likewise,
I make, constitute and appoint Edward Quirk of
Fulton, N.Y. to be executor of this,
my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal,
the 14th, day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred,
