This Indenture made the twenty sixth day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty Eight. Between Lewis Turner of the town of Scriba, Oswego County, State of New York & Rebecca Ann his wife of the first part and Morris M. Turner of the same place of the second part.  Witnesseth that the same parties for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred Dollars money of Account of the United States to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part.  The receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised acclaimed Afirmed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever.  All that piece or parcel of land situated in the town of Scriba township being that part of the north half of lot number Seventy nine in township number Eighteen of Scriba patent described as follows by being an oblong extending in length from the north east corner of the lot Southward along the Eastern boundary of __?__ to the center of said line being the public highway supposed to be Eighty rods in length & extending in breadth from said north east corner of the lott westward along the north boundary line of the lot for enough to embrace in said oblong one half of the premises conveyed to said Lewis Turner by Samuel Griswold & wife by deed dated March 21st 1836 & recorded in Oswego County Clerk’s office the oblong hereby intended to be conveyed is supposed to be fifty rods in breadth.  Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertainingn and the deversions remainded unto issue and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity ofin and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurtenances.  To have and to hold the said hereby granted where mentioned and described premises with the appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Lewis Turner for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth covenant grant bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to warrant and forever to defend the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof being in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part against the said party of the first part his heirs and assisgns and all of the present lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.  In witness whereof the parties to these presents hereunto.  Let their hands and Seals the day and year first above written.  Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of  those (The word Lewis at beginning of 14th line first written on ___?____) I known unto Lewis Turner.

I certify that on the 30th day of March 1838 personally Oswego County    )  appeared  Lewis Turner and Rebecca Ann his wife known to me to be the same individuals described in and who executed the within conveyance and severally acknowledge that they executed their same for the usses and purposes therein  Mentioned and the said Rebecca Ann on a private examination separate and apart from her said husband further acknowledged that she executed the same freely and voluntarily without any fear or compulsion of her said husband

Salome/Russell Turner Deed

This Indenture made the Seventh day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and forty seven.   Between Salome Turner of the town of Scriba in the County of Oswego & State of New York of the first part and Russell Turner of the same Place of the second part.  Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars when in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged has had granted bargained sold remised released and confirmed and by these presents does grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm and the party of the second part and to his Heirs and Assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of Land lying in township Number Eight, town of Scriba, patent in the town of Scriba & County aforesaid being part of lot No. Seventy-eight in said township.  Boundaries as follows.  Beginning at the North West corner of said lot, No 78 at a stake twenty links south from a beach tree or stump  which is marked 64. 65. 77. & 78.  Thence East along the North line of said lot 78. fifteen chains and forty-six links to a step and stones thence South along the line of  land now owned by Morris M. Turner Twenty chains twelve links to a stake & stones at the center of the lot and center of highway thence  west along the dividing line between the North and South half of said Lot 78.  Fifteen chains & forty six links to a stake and stones on the west line of said lot thence north along the west line of  said lot twenty chains & twelve links to the place of beginning being the __?__of the north half of said lot No. 78.  Excepting nineteen & one-eighth acres now owned by Morris M. Turner and containing thirty-one Acres of Land more on lot.  Together with all and Singular  The Land it amounts and appurtenances there unto belonging or in any wise appertaining the reversion and revisions remainder remainder and remainders rents isseed and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest clause and demand whatsoever of this said party of the first part either in law or Equity of in and to the above bargained promised with the said hereditaments and appurtenances.  To have and to hold the said promises above described to the said part of the second part, his Heirs and Assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his Heirs and Assigns forever.  And the said Salome party of  the first part for herself Heirs Executors and Administrators does covenant grant bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part Heirs and Assigns that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part her Heirs and Assigns against all and any person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof.  She will forever Warrant and Defend.

Oswego County ss: On this 7th day of September in the year 1847.  Came before me Salome Turner to me known to be the person described in and whose entered the within conveyance and acknowledged that She expected the same.

This indenture made the sixth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six Between MORRIS M. TURNER and CATHARINE TURNER  his wife of the Village of Oswego of the first part and Stephen Bently of the same place of the second part.  Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred & Twenty five dollars money of account of the United States to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof  is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed and by those presents do grant bargain sell clear alien and continue unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever.  All that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the Village of Oswego & County of Oswego to wit the equal undivided half of the southwest quarter of Lot Number One hundred and thirty six in Block one hundred and fifteen in East Oswego as laid down on a map of said Village and filed in the office of the secretary of this state.  Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenance therewith belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions remainder__?___  issues and profit thereof and all the estate__?    title  in land, claims and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in law as ___?    Of in and to the above bargained premises with the hereditaments and appurtenances. To Have and to Hold the said hereby granted above mentioned and described premises with the appurtenance and every part and parcel therefore to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns with sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs executors and administrators Do covenant grant bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to warrant and forever to defend the above bargained premises and every part and parcel then of now being in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part against the said parties of the first part their heirs and assigns and all other persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part ___?__ in witness when of the parties to these presents hereunto set their hands and seal the day and year first above written.
