Died in Vestal, Broome Co., on Thursday, the 30th of July, 1840, Mr. Jedediah Adams in the 78th year of his age. He was born in Canterbury, Westminster Society, Conn., in 1762.  He enlisted in the service of his Country as a soldier, when only fourteen, and served three years, then enlisted during the war, and served his time and received a regular discharge.  He married to Miss Betty Gates when 25, the next year they moved to the Great Bend Susquehanna county, Penn., 9/13/1840

Died in Owego, Tioga Co., N. Y., Mrs. Huldah, consort of the late Mr. George Noteware, aged 80 years, 9/13/1840

Died in Pompey, on the 10th inst., Punderson Avery, one of the oldest settlers of P., aged 75 years, 9/20/1840

Died.  Mr. Christian Reals of DeWitt, aged 67 y'rs, was found dead by the side of the road between his house and Jamesville, on the morning of the 6th instant.  The verdict of the coroner's inquest, was that his death was produced by an accidental fall on his return from Jamesville the previous evening, 7/8/1841
