Maratin A. Hager, 82. formerly of South Deerfield, died of a heart attach early today at his home in Sarasota, Fla. He was born in this town Nov. 1, 1876, son of Martin and Ida (Judd) Hager, and was educated here. He resided in the town until 1911, when he moved to Leominster. He moved to Florida in 1953.
Mr. Hager married the former Bertha Boyle of Gill, who died in 1950. He
was a member of Pilgrim Church, Leominster, and the Leominster Historical
Society. Surviving are his widow, the former Elizabeth Lee of Leominster; four
children, Harry of Venice, Fla., Mrs. Marion Jellinghaus of Shirley, Mrs. Edith Pierce and Mrs. Alice LaClair of Leominster; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. of Leominster, Mass.
