POLLING PLACES

IN THE TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD*

We, the undersigned, composing the Board of Town Officers, as by law constituted for that purpose, hereby certify that we have this 9th day of September, 1891, held a meeting and have appointed and designated the polling places for several Election Districts of the Town of Hempstead are hereby declared to be as follows, to wit:
District No. 1- In the Wheelwright Shop of Seaman Brothers, in Wantagh, in said district.
District No. 2-In the house of Mrs. Nancy McFarland, at Smithville South, in said district.
District No. 3-In the store of Peter Fream, at East Meadow, in said district.
District No. 4-In Firemen�s Hall, in Freeport, in said district.
District No. 5-In the house of Royal Mollineaux, formerly William Carman, in Greenwich Point, in said district.
District No. 6- In the house of Protection Hose Co., No. 3, on Prospect street, in the village of Hempstead, in said district.
District No. 7- In the Town Hall, in the village of Hempstead, in said district.
District No. 8- In the hall of Tredwell D. Smith, in Baldwins, in said district.
District No. 9- In the late store of Phebe A. Rider, in Oceanville, in said district.
District No. 10- In Atheneum Hall, in Rockville Centre, in said district.
District No. 11- In the shop of Selah L. Payne, on Greenwich street, in the village of Hempstead, in said district.
District No. 12- In the feed store of Clowes & Nichols, on Main street, in the village of Hempstead, in said district.
District No. 13-In the Truck House of Rescue Hook and Ladder Co. at Pearsalls, in said district.
District No. 14- In the Truck House of Empire Hook and Ladder Co. at Woodsburgh, in said district.
District No. 15- In the house of Christopher Schreiber at Valley Stream, in said district.
District No. 16- In the house of John West, in Valley Stream, in said district.
District No. 17- In the Casino in Garden City, in said district.
District No. 18- In the Truck House of Washington Hood and Ladder Co., in Cedarhurst, in said district.
District No. 19- In the Truck House of Electric Hook and Ladder Co., No. 1, at Inwood, in said district.
District No. 20- In the Court House of Edmund J. Healy at Far Rockaway, in said district.
District No. 21- In the Truck House of Oceanus Hook and Ladder Co., No. 1, near Holland�s Station, in said district.
