Rev. Mansfield French Dead.

The Rev. Mansfield French, pastor of the St. James' M. E. Church, Pearsalls, who has been suffering with dysentery for two weeks, died Wednesday morning about 9 o'clock. On Tuesday, Mr. French's condition was thought by the attending physicians to be improving but about 6 o'clock in the evening he began to fall and continued to sink lower and lower until the time of his death, being unconscious the last six hours of his life. There being so many interesting incidents connected with the history of Mr. French, we cannot on such short notice publish a just obituary, but by the time of our next issue we will have correct one prepared. The remains will probably be interred at Woodlawn, N.Y.
