  William L. Howe, 94, 324 Bennett Street, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 4, 2001 in the emergency room of Faxton Hospital, 
Utica, shortly after his admission from the Martin Lutheran Home, Clinton, where he had resided for the past year. 
 
  He was born in Manlius, on May 11, 1907, the son of Benjamin and Emogene Perkins Howe. A lifelong resident of this area, 
Mr. Howe was educated in the Stockbridge Valley schools. He married Virgina Warren on Sept. 30, 1920 in Williamstown. Mrs. 
Howe died on Jan. 28, 1995. 
 
  Prior to his retirement, Mr Howe was employed with the Stickley Furniture Company. 
 
  Surviving are five daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Charles Donahue and Darla and Sands McGlynn, all of Oneida, Diane 
and Thomas Tornatore of Island Heights, NJ, Deanna and William Welsh of Norwich, and Davita and Joseph Tornatore of 
Canastota; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Howe of Williamstown; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 
several nieces and nephews. A son, Donald W. Howe died on Oct. 17, 1955.
